Kehinde Majekodunmi

Kehinde Majekodunmi is a Senior Manager of Recruitment at The Marcy Lab School. She was born in Brooklyn, raised in Queens, and moved back to Brooklyn officially after graduating college. She goes hard for her Nigerian culture as her parents were born and raised there. In her role at Marcy, Kehinde is responsible for recruiting young adults to pursue admission to the Software Engineering Fellowship.

Before joining The Marcy Lab School, Kehinde served as a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager at Ascend Public Charter Schools, where she co-led and oversaw the teacher hiring process for 17 schools, ensuring that high-quality, mission-driven teachers were instructing students. She also worked at the CUNY Welcome Center as a student recruiter and managed a portfolio of 20 schools in the Brooklyn community. She has over 7 years of experience in the education sector and is passionate about helping people reach their goals and maximize their potential. 

A true ambivert, when Kehinde is not at Marcy, you can find her either at home, reading a good fiction book, or eating out at a cozy restaurant with friends, spreading good vibes, dancing, and hanging out with her family. Kehinde also loves music! You can catch her vibing to R&B soul, jazz, hip hop, and afrobeats.
